The Spring Creeks  Come out and see the new work: DePuy's dug out some nice new runs, the Nelsons built a lovely new Entertainment Cabin, and Armstrong's new island addition and beautiful deep holes are holding some big fish. Rod fees are $75 (until 6/15) which means more elbow room - less locals are fishing now, plus most of the summer anglers have not arrived...

Rod fees are $75 (until 6/15) which means more elbow room - less locals are fishing now, plus most of the summer anglers have not arrived.

Depending on the weather, try combinations of the following:  midge larva, scuds, sawyer style PT's, baetis nymphs, emergers, duns, leeches, and small streamers.

Recommended Tackle:
490 Z-axis, G.Loomis 9'#4 Streamdance Presentation, or Winston BIIX 5 weight. Ross Evolution 2, Lamson Litespeed 2 Scientific Angler's Trout taper line or Rio Selective Trout.

Recommended Terminal Tackle:
George Anderson's Maxima Clear Butt 12 foot 5x hand tied leader with Segaur Grandmax fluorocarbon tippets. Depending on depth and water speed, hang two nymphs 3-6 feet below a medium sized thill indicator. This would also be a good opportunity to see if you like the balloon indicators.
