Simms Guide Weight Gore-Tex Waders These have been a big hit since their introduction. There are plenty of breathable waders available now, but nothing beats Gore-Tex for both comfort and durability. I ran a head to head test myself this past July on the Beaverhead with the new Simms guide model wader and another brand of "breathable" waders. After two days of switching back and forth, there was no question that the new Simms 5 layer design was far more breathable and extremely comfortable. This is the only wader I've ever worn that is comfortable if you are wearing a pair of shorts underneath!

Since their introduction, the Simms Guide Model Gore-Tex waders have been the very best breathable waders available. However, anglers looking for a less expensive wader have been forced to choose from other less effective or less durable materials. The Simms Lightweight Gore-Tex wader solves this dilemma, offering a moderately priced breathable with the quality of Gore-Tex material and Simms construction. The 3 layer construction is very lightweight, but a reinforced lamination in the lower leg protects them from brush and briars. The Lightweight Gore-Tex waders are the perfect choice for the occasional fisherman or as a back up pair of waders. A nylon wading belt and repair kit are included with all Simms waders, and every pair is tank tested before leaving the factory.
