 Fishing Restrictions and Closures

for the month of July, 2007

Montana Fishing Restrictions | Yellowstone Park Restrictions

Since several rivers and streams in our area are now experiencing "Hoot Owl" closures, (restrictions that limit fishing from 2:00 PM to Midnight), we have changed the shop hours to 6:00am to 6:00pm.

If the water temperatures get below 70 degrees (21.1 celsius) for three days in a row, FWP will revoke the Hoot Owl restrictions.  For the Yellowstone, you can look at the water temperatures at Carter's bridge (just scroll down to the bottom of the page - water temperatures are in Celsius).

If you have any questions regarding the restrictions and closures please click the above links for more information or give us a call.  We will be glad to help you figure out what you need to know.  406-222-7130.

We appreciate your cooperation.
