The Salmonflies are here!  You'll now want to fish above Emigrant for the thickest part of the hatch...

CFS at Corwin | CFS at Carter's Bridge | CFS at The Lamar

It's official - the salmonflies are here. Fish from Emigrant to Loch Laven were gorged yesterday. They were still eating some caddis and yellow sallies for desert.  I think for the next few days Carbella to 26 will have the best part of the hatch.  You'll see some boats, but if you can come after work there are not many people on the water at all.  If you put in at Carbella around 6:30, plan on getting out at Point of Rocks around 10:00 or so.
