Tom Morgan and I spent many enjoyable days fishing the spring creeks near Belgrade years ago, before Tom developed MS. He was an exceptional angler and is one of the finest rod designers in the world today. Winston's WT series of trout rods were all Tom's creations and are still some of the finest casting rods in existence. With the Tom Morgan rods, Tom relied on me to help him do all the casting and fine tune the final prototypes of his new graphite rods, and we worked hard to come up with some of the smoothest casting rods you'll find. The craftsmanship is absolutely superb, from the heavy hexagonal rod case to the finest finish details on these beautiful maroon colored rods. The reel seats are uplock nickel silver and you can choose from a variety of different burl woods for the insert. My favorite is the Box Elder Burl.
Because of my relationship with Tom over the years, we are the only fly shop that can offer his rods to you at the same price they charge.
