The classic reel for ultra lightweight rods
The "flyweight" has been one of the best reels for small, light rods for over fifty years!   Now made with far stronger bar stock aluminum that the original reels and annodized, this reel makes the perfect companion for any small, light rod.   This is a small reel that is 2 3/4 inches in diameter and weighs only 2 3/4 oz.  Just right for those #0 up to #3 line rods.   Capacity is a WF-3-F with 80 yd. of 12 lb. micron backing.  Clicker pawls give just the right amount of drag and won't over-run on light drag settings.

A timeless classic for your #4 and #5 line rods

This wonderful classic reel  has now been upgraded with the use bar stock aluminum, making it much stronger and tougher than the original reels.  It is also now annodized in the same great looking colors of aluminum and grey. The Featherweight was the first good fly reel I bought back in the mid 1960's and I used it hard for over thirty years and then passed it on to my son James.   I loved the sound of those clicker pawls screaming when a big trout took off on a strong run!  The clicker pawl system is still the best for fishing really light tippets since the reel doesn't over-run at all when you strip off line using light drag settings.  Simply a joy to use in a nice light weight design that compliments any rod. Capacity is WF-4-F with 95 yd. 20 lb. micron.  Size is 2 7/8 inches and the weight is only 3 3/8 oz.
