Redington's new CPX fast action rods are a step up from their previous top of the line CPS models. New Red Core technology and a unique spiral wrap combine to give anglers a rod that is more powerful yet lighter than the CPS rods of the past. These rods are gloss jet black with silver and slate wraps. We have been impressed with the performance of these rods and they are a great value. If you are looking for a great back up rod or just don't want to spend $700 on a fly rod, you'll love these rods. We have found that in many cases they perform just about as well as the expensive rods. The 7 line rods on up have fighting butts and are designed to hold up under the toughest saltwater conditions.
