Lefty Kreh Finesse Rods complement the TFO line by offering a more "traditional" taper and action for those who fish small flies and fine tippets on light lines. We've been impressed with the way these rods cast.   These are the ideal rods for meadow streams, limestone creeks, and spring creeks. At short to medium distances, theFinesse rods cast effortlessly, turning over long leaders easily. The shorter lengths are perfect for tight quarters or smaller streams,while the longer length rods will keep a back cast well above tall grasses and are better for Western waters.  The Finesse rods are handsomely appointed with Rosewood inserts on an up locking reel seat which nicely accentuates the deep olive finish.

The evolution of the Lefty Kreh TiCr X Series has been fascinating. Imagine Lefty Kreh taking a prototype and saying "this is a nice rod but..." then imagine new mandrels and as many as 6 prototypes later having him say, "PERFECT!"    We have been impressed with the power and punch of these rods at a very reasonable price.   These TFO rods are designed here in the USA but manufactured offshore, allowing us to offer them at incredibly low prices.    These are all four-piece rods making them perfect for traveling.  Temple Fork TiCr X rods are beautifully finished in a rich blue color, top grade cork and an aluminum reel seat with a cushioned reel hood. Rods equipped with a fighting butt also have a channel lock sliding rear hood with double locking rings and feature full wells grips. Oversized titanium oxide first stripping guides start with a #20 on the 6,7, and 8 and #24 on the 9 weight through 12 weight. The 5 & 6 (lt) weight have a reversed half wells grip, single up locking rings and a matte black graphite insert. All weights have color coded alignment dots.    These rods come only with cloth bags but we have TFO cases and many other rod cases available at an additional cost.

The Pro Series are perhaps the most impressive rods in the TFO line. When we cast them, comparing them to even the TiCr-X rods, they seemed to cast nearly as well, but they were just a little heavier.  These  rods use a relatively fast progressive action that Lefty Kreh describes as just right for both beginning anglers and more experienced fly rodders.  These are all four piece rods. We sell a lot of them when traveling anglers break their "good" rod and want a back-up. When they try this rod they are amazed at what a nice casting rod this is, at an incredibly low price.  They feature alignment dots color coded by line weight, premium grade cork, oversized stripper guides and a matte black finish.   Rods come with a cloth bag only but we have optional rod cases for only $16.95 and a host of rod/reel combo cases.
