Finally an answer to our prayers for a reasonable repair policy. In fact, this may be the best repair policy offered by any manufacturer! Here's how it works - If you break any G. Loomis rod covered by the limited lifetime warranty (this includes almost all models except the old Premier series and demo rods), just call Loomis or bring it in to any G. Loomis dealer, give them your Visa or MasterCard and a single charge will be made to your account. Loomis then sends a brand new rod to you or the dealer via 2 day air service (for $65) or via ground service (for $50). You pull the new rod out of the case, stick your old rod back in the box (you retain your old rod case) and ship the broken rod back to G. Loomis using the UPS call tag they provide. Sure, this is going to cost you the $50-65, but you don't have to pay any shipping, which is normally the case if we ship rods back to any other manufacturer, and best of all you get a brand new rod, not just a tip or butt section, and you get it quickly! In many instances we have had customers wait 30 days or more for their "free" warranty repair from other manufacturers. This drives us and our customers crazy. In short, this policy makes sense and gets a new rod back into your hands quickly, even when you are on a fishing trip a long way from home.
