Steelhead Flies
The two most important factors in tying spey flies are technique and proper materials. To improve your technique, you have to practice diligently and regularly for years. To improve your materials takes only a few seconds... just give us a call! Ask for our fly tying department manager, Rick Wollum. He'll get you the full scoop on what materials work best and where to get them. If we don't stock what you are looking for, we'll track it down and get back to you ASAP. We also stock a variety of Spey rods including Winston's BIIX, and Loomis' Greaseliner, Dredger, or Stinger as well as spey reels, lines, and recommended books.
