Yellowstone River Retreat

The Yellowstone River Retreat is the perfect place to return to after enjoying a day in southwestern Montana.  Located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, in the heart of Paradise Valley, you'll absolutely love the view from your private deck and bedroom window.  There are several nice runs in front of the property, which hold good numbers of rainbows, browns, and cutthroat.  You can fish hard all day with a guide and still get some fishing in while you grill up some thick Montana steaks. 

Wake up everyday to the sound of the Yellowstone River flowing past you.  If you're an early riser, there is some fantastic streamer fishing on the property where big browns will be in shallow waters looking for sculpin and whitefish fry.  You can feel good showing your guide for the day a photo of a 20 inch fish before you even get in his boat! 

The Yellowstone River Retreat has it's very own private sandy beach, which is great for fishing, picnics, relaxing, and it also doubles as a private put in / pull out for boats.  Wouldn't it be nice for your guide to pick you up in his truck, and drop you off with his boat?  Right next to the beach is a horseshoe pit, and a riverside picnic table that overlooks the Absaroka mountain range. 

You'll be centered about 20 minutes south of Livingston and about 45 minutes north of Yellowstone Park.  There are plenty of wonderful restaurants within a 15 minute drive, but you can also stock the fridge and cook for yourself.  The King size bed can be pulled apart into two single beds.  The couch pulls out into a surprisingly comfortable queen and an inflatable mattress is available upon request.  We hope you enjoy the fishing and hunting style decor that has become so prominent in Montana cabins and homes.
