Josh Edwards with a nice native to start the year off right...

So far 2012 has started off on a great foot.  Normally this time of year we’re not able to fish, but unusually warm weather is keeping the ice away (for now).  Unfortunately, along with the warmer temps there have been some wicked winds.  Streamers have been the name of the game, producing mostly browns but also catching the interest of a few aggressive rainbows and cutthroat.  We suggest fishing two streamers, a big one up front, followed by a smaller dropper.  In general, the hogs will skip the dropper and clobber the lead fly so keep those hooks sharp and be ready… they’ll strike when you least expect it.
