We were dealt some pretty tough cards on Monday, (not sure what trumps what – freezing cold, gusting wind, or super sunny)? Anyway, we stuck it out with streamers and I was surprised how well we did for such a blue bird day. “We” as in Johnny caught 10 and I caught 2. His were on a little sculpin home tie, swung slow with the occasional twitch. All rainbows in the 13-17 inch range except for one brown at the end of the day. The fish looked vibrant and healthy, as if they had never been caught before. In about 2 years these fish are going to make some folks reel happy. Hopefully I will be one of them…
