Starting in September, we welcome a change in colors; both in the foliage surrounding the rivers we fish, as well as the fish themselves.  Trout, (especially brown trout), don’t need to be as beautiful as they are.  Let’s face it, they swim around, eat, avoid getting eaten, and occasionally “dress to impress” their significant others.  Now is one of those times.  Catching a big chrome brown in the Spring is one of the greatest joys of our sport, but somehow (even catching the exact same fish) fails in comparison to catching and experiencing it’s perfect beauty during early Fall.   Looks like the tuxedos are on, and they are looking good…
