Now that we’ve had some cooler weather, the streamer fishing has improved drastically, even on brighter days. If you are willing to commit to fishing streamers you can move some big fish right now. Some will eat, others will nip, many will fade back into the depths after seeing the boat. Might has well fish a smaller streamer (or one with a stinger) to capitalize on those skeptical, nippy browns. You will catch far less fish when fishing larger streamer patterns, (many times we’ve even been totally skunked), but when the universe aligns payoff is often BIG.
