There have been tons of mother’s day caddis on the lower Madison recently. Despite how many bugs are actively flying around there have been surprisingly few risers. With close to a foot of visibility there is certainly enough clarity for the fish to get on them. Hopefully they’ll be eating more and more dries this week and hopefully the rainy weather doesn’t put them down. Either way it’s worth experiencing this impressive hatch!
