Despite some recent rain the Yellowstone has remained clear and has been fishing reasonably well. Wind has been preventing some otherwise great potential for dry fly fishing with parachute adams, purple haze, and other baetis imitations. If you are lucky enough to fish on a calm/cloudy day be sure to bring your dry fly rod. Otherwise people have been having success fishing nymphs and streamers. The streamer bite seems to be heating up, we expect a lucky angler to catch a big one in the next couple weeks. Fall foliage is starting to look nice.
