Clarity in town (Sunday 8/28 at 7:40AM)

The Yellowstone is still looking off color, with a slightly more clear river in Gardiner. There should be just enough visibility on the edges to catch some fish today, tomorrow should be good to go. The mud spike was from August 25th, with a mini spike following on the 26th. With clear skies and no more spikes we expect the river to be in the clear the rest of the week. Before the plug, the fishing had been a little tough. Guides have been bobbering up in the morning and throwing hoppers in the afternoon. These two plugs should give the Yellowstone a nice little break, along with the “back to school” break… Give us a call for the latest report or to book a trip! 406-222-7130.
