Clarity looks good and green at Joe Brown, (just below the Yankee Jim canyon). We were worried the Park may have been nailed by the same heavy rain we got in Livingston, but the CFS spike on the Lamar wasn’t very big. At least for now the coast looks clear. CFS at Carter’s bridge in town has dropped to 7,280 today. The rest of the river will be shaping up as those flows come down even further. Salmonflies and golden stones continue to move up river. Reports of fish being gorged have now gone up to Carbella, a few days ago they were gorged below Emigrant, which means they might be hungry again through mid-valley.
