Due to recent rains, the Yellowstone has been in and out of clarity. After tonight’s storm, that trend could continue for a few days. By Thursday the sun will be shining again, we’ll just have to wait and see how much mud comes down the pipe. We think we’ll be able to work around the mud by getting ahead of it and then above it once it flows through. For those who like to throw streamers and chase the mud, this week has some potential for big fish. Yellowstone National Park has lifted the hoot owl on the Firehole, which means park wide all fishing restrictions due to warm water temperatures and low flows have now been lifted. The lower Madison has also come off hoot owl restrictions. Give us a call to book a trip or for the latest clarity report: 1-406-222-7130.
