With a murky Yellowstone the past couple days we’ve also been sending some trips to the Madison and it has been fishing very well.  Streamers and nymphs have been the main methods of attack, especially if you are targeting larger trout.  There has been some dry fly action along the edges for smaller fish as well.  This is a great time to fish the Upper Madison as the Ennis Lake browns will be “running” up into the river to spawn later.  Give us a call if you’d like to book a trip!  406-222-7130.
