Looks like we have a plug of mud that is currently from Gardiner to Mallard’s Rest. It looks like a quick plug however, and while it’s not quite ready to fish up top it should be by tomorrow morning, (pending more rain in the Park tonight). Town (Carter’s to 89) should be find today, but if you put in at Pine you might get caught in the mud later in the afternoon… As for tomorrow Carbella should be looking clear, or you could float way down low below Big Timber. Tomorrow we expect the plug to be from town to Greybear. There’s been a little less smoke in the valley the past two days which is nice to see. The fishing seems to have improved with the cooler nights and cooler water temps, (61-67°). Right now is a good time to get out and go for a big brown. Hoppers, streamers, rubberlegs, ants, and the chubby would be your weapons of choice…
