(Sold in packs of 4)Ultra-high visibility yarn makes this indicator easy to see. Outfitters and guides love to fish nymphs under yarn indicators because their clients can see it, but also because these indicators work great with big mends. You can throw a huge “jump rope” like mend into your drifting line, and the indicator hardly moves or gets sucked underwater. This is good news since you want your nymphs to look as natural as possible – if you can move your line without moving your flies, you are ahead of the game.
Squeeze a generous amount of gink (or equivalent floatant) on these in the morning and watch them float all day! These are large indicators, but don’t be afraid to cut them down to smaller sizes.
