The Yellowstone has come back into great shape after last week’s mud.  We’ve had some fantastic dry fly fishing up high.  Caddis and yellow sallies have been the main hatches, however just about any attractor dries have been working well.  If you are out there for numbers and just want to catch fish, then nymphs are going to be the most effective.  Try a larger attractor nymph like a rubber leg, beadheaded crystal bugger, or small streamer followed by any size 14-18 beadhead nymph of your choice.  If you’re out for hog Johnson, a streamer is still your best bet, (at least until we get more hoppers on the water in August)…
