Yellowstone National Park has been fishing well this summer.  The dry fly fishing has been particularly fun with lots of species on the water, including green, grey, and brown drakes, pmd’s, hoppers, flying ants, and even a few big dragonflies.  Some of the fishing directly next to the road has been fairly crowded, but if you are willing to get out there and do even a short hike the fishing pressure decreases drastically.  This year there is plenty of cold water in the NE section of the park, which means the rivers and creeks should fish well into the Fall… Give us a call if you’d like to book a trip!  406-222-7130.
