Billy Fitzpatrick cuts up a pile of scrap metal below Carter's Bridge, in preparation for the River Clean Up...

This Saturday, April 14th everyone is invited to join the 8th annual Yellowstone River Clean Up!  The event will start at the Civic Center (in Sacajawea Park) at 8:00AM Saturday morning.  While the Joe Brooks and Madison Gallatin chapters of TU are helping organize this event, the clean up is for everyone in the community and parents are encouraged to bring along your kids.  Each year it seems like there are more volunteers than boats, so if you and a friend each have boats, try to bring along both!  (Don’t worry, there will be a power washer at the civic center to wash your boat out for you afterwords).  Please remember to bring along the correct number of life jackets for your boat (hopefully 3) as well as a pair of good work gloves.  Large industrial contract bags will be provided.   Crazy Mountain Ranch is nice enough to cater a picnic lunch to follow between 1:00 and 4:00 PM.  This is a great opportunity to get out and help give back to the river.  Hope to see you there!
