Clarity on the Yellowstone is perfect right now for throwing big uglies. The brown above fell for one of Gallop’s Butt Monkey streamers. 300 grain sink tip lines on an 8 weight rod are a great way to go right now, especially if you like to throw a couple streamers. Otherwise, try dead drifting a big Bow River Bugger under an indicator and add as much weight as your rod can handle.
