With the exception of mid-valley, the Yellowstone has been running clear of ice lately. Water temps are still cold however, so you’re going to want to swing slow and get those flies down deep in their face, (see above). JD and Nathan said this big brown pounded the bugger mid run and blew up the surface like a steelhead! Props to them for landing a killer fish!
