The last couple days we’ve been dealing with some mud but we’re in the clear now. There were two main plugs, a really bad mud slide on the Yellowstone near mile marker 10, (which made the river as muddy as it gets), followed by less severe plug created by a thunderstorm in the Lamar Valley. Both plugs are now well east of Livingston. The Guides who floated in between those two plugs did very well, catching both good numbers and size of fish in the Valley. Right now town down would be a good time to get out and go for a bigger fish, as they are more likely to slip up with that perfect “green is good” color right now…
