Today the mud was from Gardiner down to about Pine Creek, and finally to Carter’s by this evening.  Tomorrow will be fishable down low for sure, with a slight chance of being able to fish way up high.  We’ll know more in the morning – as always don’t hesitate to give us a call for a clarity report.  The fishing has actually been quite good lately.  Water temps have been holding between 61 and 67 degrees.  Fish have been eating it all – dries, droppers, streamers, you name it they have been eating it.  We are starting to see a little more moss down low which is upsetting but the Valley has been perfect.  With only a 20% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon this mud should shoot through and we’ll be fishing the Valley again by Sunday/Monday.  Looks like 30-50% chance rain after that, which could bring along another plug by Thursday, however we should be able to work around the mud as we have today and hopefully catch some big fish in the process.  Give us a call to book a trip! 406-222-7130.
