Yellowstone National Park fishing report
Slough Creek - as pretty as it gets. Photo: Joe Sherman
The NE section of Yellowstone National Park park has been fishing well! PMD's have been coming mid-morning, usually in a size #16-18. In the afternoons the best top water flies have been ants, beetles, and hoppers.
If you can hike a little (3-6 miles), that opens a lot more doors for better fishing with less pressure. But even if you are unable to hike very far there are some spots closer to the main roads that are less known and fishing well. Let one of our guides show you the way!
