Yellowstone River Fishing Report
CFS: 1450

Late Fall is here and unfortunately around Livingston, that often translates to a little extra "W"!  Keep an eye on the forecasts and the area you want to float. It might be a better idea to do a little wade fishing verses committing to a 10 mile float, battling a steady 20 mph wind with gusts in the 40s.Â
That said, people have been floating and having some fun with nearly vacant parking lots and tons of elbow room. To arrange a shuttle make sure you call at least a day ahead of time, otherwise you could be out of luck...
There have been a lot of 15-18" rainbows getting caught lately, mostly on nymphs but some on streamers and midge dries. An occasional big brown has been caught here and there. The browns are now spawning, so please be respectful and let them do their thing.Â
