Yellowstone River Fishing Report
CFS: 7150
Clarity at Sacajawea Park in town: Yoo-hoo. (Tuesday, 5/12 at 7:50AM)
A nice brown caught in Paradise Valley (Sunday 5/3 at 4:15 PM)
The river as finally ramped up into full runoff mode. CFS has started its daily, steady upward roll. We'll keep an eye on things, but consider the Yellowstone blown (and dangerous) for a month or so.
The good news is we heard the Lower Madison fished well over the weekend. Streamers, crayfish, sally nymphs, and various caddis patterns have all been working well. If you are up for a little more windshield time, the Missouri and Bighorn rivers are also fishing well.

Keep in mind Grey Bear access is closed as they are working on a new parking lot. 89 bridge is open - however you can't access it driving east from Livingston on I-90. Instead, you'll have to drive past it, exit a Mission Creek, do a u-turn and drive west on I-90 exiting at 89 North. (The reason for this is they are working on the bridge that goes over I-90).
