New arrival today from House of Harrop – looks like Christmas came early… Shadow box ready, these impeccable flies are some of the tightest ties you’ll find available anywhere in the world. It is almost a shame to fish these little works of art, but boy do they work! We just received a bunch of baetis and midge dries, which will come in handy through these winter months. Although there are no baetis on the river now, last weekend we saw a decent size 18 baetis emergence on Armstrong’s. As we get further into winter however, midges will become the main food source for both the Yellowstone and the Creeks. Come April, when things finally warm up, heads will begin looking for baetis again. Check out our René Harrop Fly Selections on line, which come in classy, clear myran boxes.
