We apologize for the delay on our fishing report, (been super busy lately).  Recently the action on the Yellowstone has improved.  The afternoon lull still has guides and anglers hoping for more, but mornings and evenings have both been producing some solid fish.  Since there has been a significant amount of moss up high (and in the Valley) you’ll notice less rigs parked at Grey Owl or Mallard’s.  Most of the boat traffic has been floating somewhere between Pine Creek and 89 (since there are less weeds and also a higher fish count than down low).  Your best shot at a big brown is still down low, but the river has been exceptionally inconsistent down there this year.  Chubbies, Hoppers, rubberlegs, and olive streamers have been the hot flies lately…
