Yellowstone National Park has been fishing very well lately, especially in the North Eastern corner of the Park.   Those who don’t mind a 1-2 mile hike have been rewarded with excellent scenery, zero crowds, and plenty of native cutthroat trout caught on dries.   While we haven’t seen a ton of hoppers in Paradise Valley, there sure are plenty to be found in the Park!  We fished a mix of hoppers, crickets, chernobyl ants, rubber legs, black buggers, and caddis, but the number one fly by far… (no surprise) was a gold Chubby.  No rain in the park last night, so we’ll have good clear water on the Yellowstone for the next few days…
