Yellowstone River in Livingston 5/13

The Yellowstone is in runoff mode, dirty and rising quickly. With a still decent snowpack in the mountains, we should be in for a healthy runoff this spring. It is time to explore new waters- Spring Creeks, Private Lakes, and tailwaters have been fishing well.

Spring creeks are still seeing some Midge and Baetis hatches, but nymph fishing also remains strong. Fishing is starting to heat up on the Private Lakes as well and some good fish have been caught. Give us a call at 406-222-7130 to book a guide for these great private water options.

The Upper Madison remains a good option as well, though flows are starting to increase. The Lower has been fishing well with caddis and nymphing rigs. Give us a call to book a guide!
