The rivers are fishing well but so are the local stillwater fisheries!  There is some excellent sight fishing for big fish with dry flies to be had right now on both public and private lakes.  Dragons, damsels, callibaetis, scuds, and leeches have all been working well.  Although private lakes require a guide and rod fee, (ranging between $75-$150 per rod per day) they also offer less fishing pressure as well as some spectacular fish. If you love sight fishing and seeing the take consider booking a lake day in addition to a river day or two.  Give us a call to book a day!  406-222-7130.
