This weekend is shaping up great for hoppers – bright with a high around 90.  Looks like a little more wind on Sunday, which could help put some naturals in the water.  Guides have been fishing two hoppers but also small may fly droppers like Purple Haze, Parachute Adams, and flying ants with good success even on brighter days.  If you’re in the front of the boat cast as far ahead as you can and try to get a long drift.  If you are in back of the boat, focus on on hitting those difficult spots, those “I bet no one has got a cast in there all week” kind of shots.  3x has been working fine for hoppers and 4x for dry droppers.
