Fall colors have started, making the Yellowstone one of the most scenic places to float in SW Montana right now. The past few days have been bright and sunny, so nymph fishing has been the name of the game. If some clouds roll over we have seen some larger mayflies, larger size #10-12 parachutes have been working well for those. It looks like we could have some more clouds around Monday – Wednesday of next week which gives streamer fishing a better outlook. The Lamar was muddy a couple days ago but it seems like the mud has been filtering out and shouldn’t be an issue. Give us a call for the latest report or to book a guide. 1-406-222-7130.
