The Yellowstone has been fishing well the past few days. There have been baetis on the water as well as Hecuba and some Fall Mohoganies. Both the streamer fishing and dry fly fishing has been better on cloudy / rainy days. The fishing has been slower on bright sunny days, with euro style nymphs working the best, albeit racking up the whitefish numbers. We should have some mud coming still from the recent rain but so far we haven’t seen it in Gardiner yet. The fall colors are starting to look good out there!
