Sophia and Hank with a nice Yellowstone brown! Photo: Preston Burton

The Yellowstone continues to fish a little fickle but there have been some quality fish caught this past week. We finally got a couple days of cloud cover, which helped keep the water temps down a bit for a couple days, but after more sun the water temp reached over 70 degrees. The good news is that fish have been looking up and eating hoppers! Stoneflies and caddis have also been been working well. The streamer bite has been inconsistent but certainly worth a try. The Spring Creeks have been a little more consistent with PMD’s and midges working best. Yellowstone National Park has been busy but fishing well. Give us a call if you’d like to book a trip. 1-406-222-7130.
