Madison River Salmonflies

Salmonflies are officially out on the Lower Madison River.  The water is still high and off color but the fishing along the banks especially sub surface is producing some nice fish.

With the high water conditions around the state, the local and private lakes around Livingston have been a great option for our guides and clients.  Excellent hatches of callibaetis and fishing with streamers has been producing some great fishing.  The lake reservations have been filling quite fast because they are one of the only dependable options in the area right now.  Call us for more info.

Below is a WHOPPER brown caught by Joe Dorn while fishing with Yellowstone Angler guide Doug Mcknight.
