The younger sibling of the Chubby Chernobyl, the Stubby Chubby is its own fly. Rather than continuing to stretch the Chubby Chernobyl to the limits of size and color options, Umpqua decided to build this little guy from the ground up starting with the hook. Built on a completely new chassis designed specifically for the job, the XT050 Stubby T hook, a short shank, wide gape and V-Lock forged bend make it perfect for the job. The Stubby is meant to be dropped in the fastest of water, twitched, slapped, dragged and drifted, it will never sink.
