Varivas shooting/running line is a floating monofilament built with a hollow core that allows the mono to float better.
This makes casting longer distances a breeze as the mono will easily pick up from the surface of the water when casting. Varivas does have some memory to it so we suggest you stretch it before each use but it handles similarly to other mono shooting lines.
We've found that the stiffness and buoyancy of the Varivas line make it a great choice for dialing in that long-distance spey setup.
