We’ve had a few folks call in this week wanting to float the Yellowstone.  While there are times in the middle of the winter you can pull this off, right now is not one of them.   Unless you’ve just read Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage and want to duplicate a heroic ice-bound adventure, plan on keeping your drift boat tipped up for a while.  We’ve been catching a few fish on our lunch hour (since it’s now dark by 5:00).  Black leadeye buggers have been working well as the sculpin are all very dark right now.  Red Serendipities, rubber leg nymphs, pheasant tails, and zebra midges have all caught fish this winter as well…
